A Birthday Party

Jack, one of Scarlett's best buddies, turned 5.  We had fun celebrating at a local splash pad.

Tomorrow wraps up Scarlett's week at Kinder Camp.   She really enjoyed herself at the new school and even made new friends.  She was brave the very first day and had a great attitude.  I, on the other hand, may or may not have cried after leaving her at the cafeteria for breakfast with children she didn't know.  My baby is growing up!

Last Day of Preschool

 This was her very last day of preschool.  It makes me a little sad that she is growing up but I'm also very excited for what kindergarten will bring.  She'll miss her sweet friends, Allie, Jack, and Connor.  I know I'm going to miss all of them and their mamas.  What an emotional week full of goodbyes to people we care about.  Miss Theresa, Jessica, and our friends at Fielder Road Baptist.

With a little help from a friend, I was able to recover a few pictures from my camera's memory card that has gone bad.

Although, only one of the pictures that I was really looking forward to keeping made it.

No pictures under the pier or the girls running in the sand dunes.  But they've got these to look back on and remember.

Scarlett told us she wants to live there.  The girl loves the ocean.

Mother's Day Weekend

  We drove to the beach for a long weekend.  The weather was perfect.  We'd wake up and the first thing the girls would say- "I wanna got to the beach".  Scarlett and David would jump over waves while the twins and I would dig and run around in the shallow water. We would head back for lunch and a short nap only to spend the rest of the evening at the beach.

 I took lot's of pictures with my camera.  It was Mother's Day and I took so many shots of beautiful moments with my family.  It really makes me sad because for some odd reason, I can't get the pictures off my camera (all 231 of them).  I took a few with my phone (at least I have those).
