Family

Such a fun weekend!  My girls are so blessed to have both sets of grandparents close by and now my brother and sister-in law.

Not sure how many ice cream cones Grandma Tricia prepared on Saturday... All three girls slept the entire way home from Whitney that evening.

Park fun.  Followed by burgers and dessert at home with the Montoya family.

End of School Year

This year,  our shy girl has braved Mother's Day Out and her confidence continues to soar.  Today was her last day and we were invited to her class party.

C & M came along too.  They love Scarlett's school parties and feel right at home with the big kids.

Scarlett's 4th birthday is coming up and as I watched her play all I could think about is that she is simply growing up.

Outside

My girls like being at home.  We end up spending a lot of time in the backyard.  Maddy loves flowers. She's quickly learned that the Knock Out rose bush has thorns, so she asks me to pick the blooms for her.
All three love the swing and are pretty good about waiting their turn (most of the time).
While David was away at a convention all weekend we had some good friends over from out of town. Here is one of the pictures they took and shared.

Bigger Pictures

I think I'm finally learning hot to get bigger pictures on the blog.  Yay!  My poor babes got a little too much sun yesterday.  Sad part is, I had the sunblock but I was so concentrated on putting in it on Maddy's scar..

Wait your turn, sister!

Joe Pool Lake

This was the girls' first real lake experience.  It was a beautiful spring like day with the high of only 76!

Adventurous...  They were not shy of the water.   Did I mention it was really cold water?
The sand (can I call it sand?) was not what I was expecting.  The kids ran around with out any worries.
I love the fact that the kids had a blast.  Looking back, the moms' had some really good laughs.  Ever had a hot dog grilled on a stick?  Good friends, good times!

Weekend Recap

The girls looking for worms in the compost.

Earthworms are good.

Grubb(sp?) worms are bad. They loved throwing them away from the compost.

The were a big help in starting the vegetable garden.
