Merry Moments and Bits of Our Christmas

David's point and shoot camera
We had an amazing Christmas this year.  It was magical!  Wish I had taken more pictures of the little things that made it so exciting for the girls (sprinkling reindeer food, baking cookies for santa, ect...), but it's also nice to put the camera away.

Our first Christmas celebration,
All three loved the grocery cart!
These were pretty neat.  Fun for all (not just the kiddos).
Some dancing took place at the Montoya's house.

Our second Christmas was just us Christmas morning.  I only took 1 picture!

Our 3rd Christmas celebration at Grandma Tricia's and Papa Jamie's.
No, that puppy was not a Christmas gift.  But I'd love to take her home.
Days leading to Christmas...Merry moments....
Play at Casa Manana.

Ice cream after the play.

This was Caroline and Madeline's first gingerbread house decorating.  My first with all 3 girls.  It was quite the experience.  I'm surprise any candy made it on the house!

Scarlett's school Christmas party.  Love how she's proud of her sisters and takes care of them.
C & M playing with the class room babies. They took turns tucking them in and kissing them good night.

Finger paint from Christmas.

Looking forward to 2012!  Happy New Year!!

It's Beginning To Look Like Christmas

We put the tree up last weekend.   My brother and his family happened to be visiting from Boston at the time making it even more special.

Celebrating Sergio's birthday.

My sweet nephew.  Wish Boston wasn't so far away.

My sweet baby girl made me so proud today.  She walked in a little nervous but sang her heart out.
Sisters pre-"Hooray For Baby Jesus" program.

We got to visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus and some cute elves.  Caroline and Madeline didn't really have much to say to Santa but they didn't mind a little elf visit.
The girls watched the train go around a huge winter village that had a cute "I spy" game to go with it.

Scar had no idea Santa was married.  That discussion led to a lot of questions about whether Santa has any children.

I think our tree needs a little TLC.  The funny thing is the Maddy makes Yaya stop to admire the tree from time to time.  They are really proud of their tree decorating skills.
Spreaking of TLC, my advent calendar is a real hit with the girls.  Trying to keep it simple- envelopes arranged in a shape of  Christmas tree.  Each morning they find a clue inside which leads them on a hunt for a treat/surprise.
The Santa beard count down... Not all that exciting...  We forget at times (most of the time).  But it was a cute idea I found on Pinterest.
We're hoping Santa brings the girls a play set like the one at Uncle Sergio's house.
Or we could just use his.  He does have the cutest neighbor dog ever!

Last but not least..  Christmas cards will be mailed on Monday-no more procrastinating.

Thanksgiving '11

David's Aunt, Becky, hosted a big Thanksgiving lunch.

We didn't know that she had horses, mules, lots of dogs, and a pool.  The girls were in heaven.
I loved how Maddy referred to the white ones as "unicorns".
Someone got a few surprise kisses.
Sweet family moments were had.
We baked cookies.
Scarlett's leaf banner.  She wrote what she was thankful for on each leaf.

Another fabulous Thanksgiving meal at Grandma Tricia and Papa Jamie's house.
Fun at the park.
